Learn about Savia
A useful answer lets you check where it came from
A convincing sentence is not enough. You need to know which document supports it, what was read and what still needs confirmation.
When a summary loses its context
Someone asks how to handle an incident and receives a plausible explanation. Without a source, they cannot tell whether it came from the current procedure, an old conversation or an assumption.
The problem appears later, when another person repeats the explanation as a rule. Savia cites the sources used to answer so you can return to the original content before relying on it.
The source is part of the answer
Savia identifies where knowledge came from: Notion, GitHub or content uploaded directly to Savia. That origin helps locate the document and understand why it was used to answer.
At Agencia Brío, a question such as “How do we onboard a new client?” can receive a process backed by the welcome guide. The person can check the reference and review exceptions described in the document.
This is a fictional example, not a customer result. The important part is that the answer provides a path back to the evidence rather than ending with a sentence.
What was read and what is still missing
Agencia Brío · Fictional example
It knows what it read in full. And tells you what is missing.
A long document may contain important conditions far from its opening paragraph. Savia can read whole documents and distinguishes those read completely from those still missing. A partial reading is not presented as a complete review.
This helps you request a more specific check. If a decision depends on an appendix, ask about it and verify whether it was consulted. Reading a document in full does not make an outdated procedure current.
Short follow-ups such as “And in March?” are interpreted in conversation context. When the period or scope matters, including it explicitly still helps keep the question clear.
A missing answer starts another task
- Identify the gap. Savia says the information is missing.
- Ask the expert. The area owner receives a specific question.
- Capture the explanation. They can answer with text or video.
- Keep its origin. It is validated under company rules for future queries.
This loop helps prevent the same question disappearing into a private message. A video explanation can be cited at the exact timestamp, so the next person can review the relevant step without watching the whole recording.
A contribution does not become a rule by itself

Anyone can propose. A person confirms.

What an external AI proposes goes through here too.
Origins and review matter. Contributions retain the person and context behind them. If your company enables manual review, a contribution waits for approval before it is used as knowledge.
In Slack, Savia proposes useful information for someone to confirm. External AI proposals also require human review and never publish automatically. The team can distinguish a pending explanation from confirmed content.
When an answer affects an important decision, open the source and check that it is current. Citations support that review and help reveal which documents need correction.
Sources and permissions travel together
An answer should not reveal a restricted document to someone without access. Savia applies each person’s permissions when consulting knowledge. Review security measures and the digital brain loop.
When a question needs current figures, distinguish a document from a query to the source system. The live data guide explains how to request the period, origin and query date.
Frequently asked questions
Is it an AI knowledge base or an internal chatbot?
Both: your team asks as it would an internal AI assistant, and every answer comes from the company knowledge base, with its source.
Does each answer show where it comes from?
Savia cites the sources it uses. You can check the original document or excerpt and distinguish Notion, GitHub and content uploaded to Savia.
Does a cited source guarantee a correct answer?
No. It lets you check the answer. Documents may be outdated or need context, so reviewing them remains important for decisions that require it.
Does Savia always read every document in full?
It can read whole documents and identifies which were read completely and which are still missing. It does not present partial reading as a complete review.
What happens when it does not know?
It identifies missing information and lets you ask the area expert. Their contribution retains its origin and follows the company’s validation controls.
Can a recorded explanation be cited?
Yes. Video explanations can be cited at the exact timestamp. You can return to the moment supporting a step or decision, with its context.
